FAQs
Is azelaic acid safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, azelaic acid is generally well-tolerated by most skin types, including sensitive skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritation and redness. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin, it’s always a good idea to perform a patch test before incorporating it into your routine.
Can azelaic acid be used with other skincare products?
Azelaic acid can be safely combined with many other skincare ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and antioxidants. However, be cautious when using azelaic acid together with other actives like retinol or alpha/beta hydroxy acids to avoid irritation.
